EM Interview Lab began as my personal preparation system for international Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager interviews.
WHY I BUILT THIS
Friends called the preparation archive a “treasure trove” and encouraged me to turn it into something that could help the wider engineering community.
I have many long-time friends from IIT and previous companies who asked me to share the material I used for my own interview preparation. When I shared it, they called it a “treasure trove” and kept encouraging me to turn it into a book that could help the wider engineering community. This site is my first step towards doing that.
I studied at IIT Kharagpur, India, and began my career at Amazon Hyderabad before moving to Amazon Luxembourg. I later worked in senior leadership and architect roles in Indian technology startups, building complex systems used across the country’s fintech ecosystem.
While interviewing internationally, I prepared for roles in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany and Singapore. I successfully cleared EM and Senior EM interview processes—or reached the final offer stage—with companies including Booking.com, GoJek, Agoda, Yelp, Meta, Uber, Adyen and Bitvavo. Across these processes, I received or accepted offers in some cases and reached the offer round in others.
